LTTV (Lyons Township High School Television) has been selected by Vulcan Materials in McCook for their Adopt-a-School program. Vulcan has agreed to sponsor the TV Club for their coverage of this year’s varsity boys’ basketball home games. As a program sponsor, Vulcan has provided a donation of $3500 to the TV Club, which students will invest in equipment and production supplies. This year, the TV Club leaders have proposed using a portion of the sponsorship money to attend the National Association of Broadcasters convention (NAB show) in Las Vegas. Attending the NAB show will provide the TV Club student leadership with tremendous opportunities to learn about industry trends, career options, technology, and other relevant knowledge.
