Tech Tips was launched in the fall of 2008. The first three episodes were produced and hosted by Mark McGuire and Austin Reilly. The program was edited by Rebecca Kuntz, with graphics and original opening sequence created by Andy Jarosz.

In 2010-2011, Dan White became the producer of the Tech Tips series. The hosts for each short Tech Tips segment are members of the LT Tech Club.
