- You can join TV Club and be a part of LTTV at any grade level and at any time of the year
- The TV Club is active all-year long, sign up anytime and come out whenever you can
- You can learn how to do TV production hands-on, while working on television shoots in the studio, in the field, or with our production truck
- Come to a club meeting, held every 2nd and 4th Thursday at 3:15 pm in Room 17 North Campus
- You will be a part of the LTTV Crew
Within LTTV there are a number of different categories of programming and areas of the station that can be defined as distinct departments that work together. Each of these departments is supervised by LTTV staff, but students will serve greater roles than previously defined by the TV Club through the adoption of these departments.
Each department will have a student department head, and within the departments will be student producers assigned to specific areas, projects, or programs. Each department head and the producers within their department will assume the responsibility of making sure that the events in their respective category are covered and have sufficient crew. Some department heads, when applicable, will also have the privilege of deciding what programs get played during their assigned time slot in the LTTV programming schedule.
Departments include Creative Services, ENG (Electronic News Gathering), Music and Performing Arts, Public Relations, Sports, and Studio Operations.
